Competition calendar

We host events every other week. Below is our usual calendar structure – specific times, locations, and registration links can be found on each event page.

Weekly events

Saturday – Open Race Day

Our busiest day. We usually have two or three parallel events in different game categories. Format varies – please check individual listings. Mix of free and paid events.

Sunday — Casual Championship

The championship rounds of our ongoing seasonal tournaments. These are paid events that contribute to the seasonal leaderboard. 3-6 £ per player, depending on the game category.

Friday night — Free social game night

There is no entry fee, no registration required. Just show up and we’ll match you up with other players. A perfect opportunity to try out new games in a relaxed environment. Space is limited — get there early.

Free events

We organize free tournaments because we want the club to be truly accessible to Isledik, not just on paper.

Free weekly events include:

Friday social game night (open to Isledik)
Monthly kick-off tournament (first Saturday of the month)
Open tournament of classic games (Scrabble, chess, checkers – last Sunday of the month)
Season opening events (opening weekend of the new Isledik season – always free entry)

Free events do not count towards the main leaderboard, but you can earn participation points that go towards your player profile.

Paid premium tournaments

These events are where the real competition takes place. The entry fee covers the costs of the venue, the prize pool and the organization. The prize is clearly stated before registration.

Single entry paid events:

Weekly Championship Rounds — 10–14 £ per player
Featured Game Tournaments (e.g. monthly Wingspan Cup, Catan Championship) — 21–28 £ per player
Ranked Masters event — 35–53 £ per player (includes contribution to prize pool)

What does the entry fee cover:

Tournament organization and judging
Venue and table setup
Live score
tracking Ranking points for seasonal leaderboards
Printed certificates for top finishers in selected events

Team competitions

Team competitions are held approximately twice a month and are available to registered teams of 2-6 people.

• Alternate format: Second team member plays one round; points are added up
• Collaborative strategy: Second team member works on a common playing position
• Teams versus each other: Two teams face each other directly on multiple boards

Team competition formats:

Team entry fees: £ 10–14 per player, billed per person upon registration. Teams of 4 or more receive a 10% discount on paid events.

Fair PR Ranking events principles

Ranking events are any paid tournaments that contribute to the seasonal rankings.

How rankings work:

Points are awarded based on your placement in each event
Higher-level events are worth more points
Your best 8 results of the season count – so missing an event won’t ruin your season
Rankings reset at the start of each new season
The cumulative, ranked time rankings are kept separately

Wooden chess pieces, bingo chips, dice and classic board game elements scattered on colorful game boards on the table.
